This third iteration of SPARK was suspended from trees among campers at this popular Oregon music festival. It was made up of more than 100 motion activated lights that are triggered as the viewer walks around the piece, illuminating small pouches of “unborn ideas.”
Creativity can be elusive. And ideas are often fleeting. If we can remain open, staying deeply engaged with our environment, we might just catch a glimpse of the countless floating ideas fragments, waiting to be born.
